The multilingual journal of the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory brings together outstanding international contributions to legal historical research and opinionated reviews of selected publications relevant to legal history.
Rechtsgeschichte – Legal History is the journal of the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory and publishes international and interdisciplinary research results in legal history. In addition to comprehensive research articles and thematically related contributions in the focus, forum or debate sections, each issue contains reviews of new legal history publications from around the world.
