Since its foundation in 1895 this journal for Luxembourgish history has undergone many changes. Next to scientific articles of transnational scope, which are subject to a double blind peer reviewing process, the journal continues to publish contributions to local history. Moreover, the journal welcomes interdisciplinary approaches.

The journal is issued four times a year, publishing about 25 reviews in total of new publications on Luxembourgish history and society. It also contains research reports, summarizing recent Master and PhD theses on Luxembourgish history.
